My name is Shakira and I am the artist behind Dark Arts Craftopedia, I am a Mexican-American licensed clinical psychologist that after years of practice as an Art Therapist for state mental institutes switched careers into the arts, I became a professional photographer who loves to decompress and craft, I found my medium in resin and sculpted art. My style is heavily influenced by pop art & kawaii design. I am the person behind the sculpted face tumblers, donuts, colorful drips and scoops.

I run Dimensional Artist where we create at least 2 monthly 3D tumblers, additionally in our program I teach monthly easy to learn product photography, so you can succeed in your e-commerce business.

I was part of an Art Therapy Podcast. I also teach in person classes at least once a year such as The Great American Craft Expo in Atlantic City, Crystal Sweets class in San Diego California, Haunted Warehouse in New Jersey, Upon a Craft in Dallas Texas, The Coven Sculpt in Salem MA and Witch Craft class in Boston area.

Coming up Summer of 2026 I will be teaching a magical design for The Princess Academy in Orlando FL.
